Google is stepping up its effort to block phishing attempts that use app permissions to gain access to users’ Gmail accounts. These phishing attacks invite users to. Search the world's information, including webpages, images, videos and more. Google has many special features to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Search Flickr Better With Google Images. At a for- profit editorial outlet like Lifehacker, when we need an image for our posts, we can’t just do a Google image search and slap up the first result. We have to use properly licensed photos. Sometimes we use our own original photos, sometimes Getty images that we pay for, sometimes the millions of Flickr photos licensed for free use through Creative Commons. But since 2. 01. 4, Google Images has also let users filter photos by license. This page briefly describes a free application that runs in the Google Earth desktop client. Please install Google Earth, download PLSGE. Head on past the jump for more details and complete step-by-step guide. Google Earth Automatic InstallmentAnd unlike Flickr, Google Images uses the most sophisticated search algorithms on the planet. So it can unearth some Flickr photos that even Flickr can’t. For a recent post, I needed a hero shot of hand towels. Searching “hand towels” on Flickr returned a lot of hands near and around towels, plus the usual Second Life screenshots and NSFW art. Flickr just knew I wanted content about hands and towels. But Google guessed that my phrasing mattered, and found more actual hand towels, like the beautiful red- and- yellow number in my post. Flickr knew that was a picture of a towel, but it couldn’t recognize the “hand” part, since that word appeared nowhere on the image’s main page. Google’s AI algorithms may have literally recognized this was a hand towel, or maybe Google just knew that other sites had linked or embedded the image with the relevant phrase. Either way, it dug up an image that hadn’t been explicitly labeled, but was exactly what I needed. So for any tricky image searches, you still might want to dig into Google’s “Tools” menu before trying a specialized engine. Google Images will filter images by size, color, recency, license, or even pick out photos, faces, line drawings, animations, or clip art. If you’re searching by license, you’ll still need to click through from the Google result to the image’s original page, to confirm the license and follow any restrictions, like giving attribution. Google’s powerful, but it’s not perfect, and you can’t blame it when someone comes at you for using their photo without following the rules. Google Earth Automatic Installer

Slotting below the larger X5, the X3 was one of the earliest two- row luxury crossovers to appear and competed with the likes of the Lexus RX and the Infiniti FX (now called the QX7. Under the hood of the original X3 was a 2. I- 6 that buyers could pair to a six- speed manual or automatic transmission. Production moved from Austria to BMW’s plant in South Carolina, which also produces the X5 and the X6 crossovers. Compared to the car it replaces, the second- generation X3 grew to the point that it was almost as large as the original X5. The first variant offered in the U. S. Unlike the first generation X3, U. In a comparison test that also included the Lexus NX 2. Lincoln MKC, Volvo XC6. Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, the BMW X3 placed second thanks to its impressive driving dynamics. Expect the next- generation BMW X3 crossover to feature the automaker’s new modular engine family, which includes a 2. I- 6, and a 2. 0- liter turbodiesel I- 4. The third- generation X3 might also be the first to see a true M variant, which could use a variant of the 3. I- 6 found in the M3 and M4. Why You’d Consider One. Should you need to haul any combination of cargo, gear and/or people, the X3’s cabin is also spacious, making it a practical choice for those with active lifestyles. Why You’d Look Elsewhere. As with every BMW vehicle, the X3 has an options list that can quickly make the price of the crossover you want rise in price to get the features you want. Additionally, the X3 has a firm ride, which is a trade- off for its sporty driving dynamics. The loud cabin and average material quality for the class could also deter buyers from considering the X3. You should mow before grass gets taller than 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Practice mulch mowing, aka grass cycling, which means simply leaving grass clippings on your lawn. Grass clippings decompose quickly and can provide up to 2. If prolonged rain or other factors prevent frequent mowing and clippings are too plentiful to leave on the lawn, they can be collected and used as mulch. Whatever you do, don't bag them! Grass clippings do not belong in landfills. Fertilization. Apply 1 pound of nitrogen per thousand square feet when the grass is about 5. If possible and motivated submit a soil sample to determine nutrient and lime requirements for exact requirements. Bermuda grass needs a weekly application of about 1 to 1 1/4 inches of water. On sandy soils it often requires more frequent watering, for example, 1/2 inch of water every third day. It may be necessary to irrigate an area for 3 to 5 hours to apply 1 inch of water. Best watering frequency for conservation is determined by looking for dark bluish gray color, foot printing, wilted, folded, or curled leaves indicate that it is time to water. Proper irrigation may prevent can reduce pest problems and environmental stress later in the summer. Weed Control. Apply post- emergence herbicides in May as needed to control summer annual and perennial broadleaf weeds such as knotweed, spurge, and lespedeza. Products containing two or three broadleaf herbicides usually control several different broadleaf weeds in a lawn more effectively. Be sure the product is labeled for use on Bermuda grass. Apply post emergence herbicides only when weeds are present, and wait until three weeks after the lawn becomes green. Be sure to follow label instructions and note temperature limitations of product if used. Insect Control. Bermuda grass is virtually immune to insect damage except white grubs. Check for white grubs and control them if necessary. Thatch Removal. If proper water, mowing, and fertilizing techniques are followed thatch should not normally be a problem. If needed vertically mow in May to remove the thatch (layer of un- decayed grass) after the lawn becomes green if the thatch is more than inch thick. June through August. Mowing. Apply herbicides only when weeds are present and the weeds are actively growing, and when the lawn is not suffering from drought stress. Follow label directions and watch for the temperatures. Insect Control. Follow the March through May insect control guidelines. August is the best time to control white grubs because they are small and close to the soil surface. September through November. Raise the mowing height 1 inch as winter approaches. This will add insulation and some freeze protection in transitional areas or areas where freezing temps are encountered during the winter. Fertilization. Apply last application for the season of no more than 1/2 pound of nitrogen only per thousand square feet in September or four to six weeks before the first expected frost. Use can use a low- nitrogen, high- potassium fertilizer such as a 5- 1. In addition you can apply lime or sulfur if earlier soil test indicated a deficiency from earlier soil test and it was not practical to add the required amounts in spring. Irrigation. NET Synchronization Services. SQL CE does not support ODBC connectivity, unlike SQL Server proper. Developer. SQL Server Developer Edition includes the same features as SQL Server Enterprise Edition, but is limited by the license to be only used as a development and test system, and not as production server. Starting early 2. Microsoft made this version free of charge to the public. This edition does not include SQL Server Integration Services, Analysis Services, or Reporting Services. Discontinued editions. SQL Server 7 and SQL Server 2. Intended for use as an application component, it did not include GUI management tools. Later, Microsoft also made available a web admin tool. Included with some versions of Microsoft Access, Microsoft development tools, and other editions of SQL Server. Had workload or connection limits like MSDE, but no database size limit. Includes standard management tools. Intended for use as a mobile / disconnected proxy, licensed for use with SQL Server 2. Standard edition. It supports 2. 56 logical processors and virtually unlimited memory and comes with Stream. Insight Premium edition. All operations that can be invoked on SQL Server are communicated to it via a Microsoft- defined format, called Tabular Data Stream (TDS). TDS is an application layer protocol, used to transfer data between a database server and a client. Initially designed and developed by Sybase Inc. Consequently, access to SQL Server is available over these protocols. In addition, the SQL Server API is also exposed over web services. SQL Server supports different data types, including primary types such as Integer, Float, Decimal, Char (including character strings), Varchar (variable length character strings), binary (for unstructured blobs of data), Text (for textual data) among others. The rounding of floats to integers uses either Symmetric Arithmetic Rounding or Symmetric Round Down (fix) depending on arguments: SELECT Round(2. Microsoft SQL Server also allows user- defined composite types (UDTs) to be defined and used. It also makes server statistics available as virtual tables and views (called Dynamic Management Views or DMVs). In addition to tables, a database can also contain other objects including views, stored procedures, indexes and constraints, along with a transaction log. A SQL Server database can contain a maximum of 2. OS- level files with a maximum file size of 2. Secondary data files, identified with a . Log files are identified with the . A page is the basic unit of I/O for SQL Server operations. A page is marked with a 9. ID of the object that owns it. Page type defines the data contained in the page: data stored in the database, index, allocation map which holds information about how pages are allocated to tables and indexes, change map which holds information about the changes made to other pages since last backup or logging, or contain large data types such as image or text. While page is the basic unit of an I/O operation, space is actually managed in terms of an extent which consists of 8 pages. A database object can either span all 8 pages in an extent (. A row in a database table cannot span more than one page, so is limited to 8 KB in size. However, if the data exceeds 8 KB and the row contains varchar or varbinary data, the data in those columns are moved to a new page (or possibly a sequence of pages, called an allocation unit) and replaced with a pointer to the data. The partition size is user defined; by default all rows are in a single partition. A table is split into multiple partitions in order to spread a database over a computer cluster. Rows in each partition are stored in either B- tree or heap structure. If the table has an associated, clustered index to allow fast retrieval of rows, the rows are stored in- order according to their index values, with a B- tree providing the index. The data is in the leaf node of the leaves, and other nodes storing the index values for the leaf data reachable from the respective nodes. If the index is non- clustered, the rows are not sorted according to the index keys. An indexed view has the same storage structure as an indexed table. A table without a clustered index is stored in an unordered heap structure. However, the table may have non- clustered indices to allow fast retrieval of rows. In some situations the heap structure has performance advantages over the clustered structure. Both heaps and B- trees can span multiple allocation units. Any 8 KB page can be buffered in- memory, and the set of all pages currently buffered is called the buffer cache. The amount of memory available to SQL Server decides how many pages will be cached in memory. The buffer cache is managed by the Buffer Manager. Either reading from or writing to any page copies it to the buffer cache. Subsequent reads or writes are redirected to the in- memory copy, rather than the on- disc version. The page is updated on the disc by the Buffer Manager only if the in- memory cache has not been referenced for some time. While writing pages back to disc, asynchronous I/O is used whereby the I/O operation is done in a background thread so that other operations do not have to wait for the I/O operation to complete. Each page is written along with its checksum when it is written. |
